First musical appearance: Singing the song „Fürge róka lábak” (song from a children-cartoon) at the entrance examination of the Franz Liszt School of Music in 1993.
Memorable
- concert: J. S. Bach’s Mass in b minor with the Pécs University Choir and the Budapest Strings Orchestra, at the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest – conducted by Salamon Kamp. And: Kodály’s Te Deum with the Pécs Chamber Choir.
- travel: We travelled with the Choir of Pécs Reformed College to the Sub-Carpathia. Of course we stopped at the Verecke-pass on the way. I recited on the top of the semi-finished memorial the poem „Magyarnak lenni” by Sándor Sajó. It was a marvellous and uplifting experience!

Hobby: collecting sound-tracks

Tamás Pap began his musical studies at the Liszt School of Music in 1993 majoring in piano and violin. During the years of high school he sang at the Mixed Choir of Pécs Reformed College, and also attended the singing lessons of Aliz Hardi. From 2005 he was student majoring in music-teaching and choir-conducting in the Faculty of Arts of the University of Pécs. His singing teachers were Gabriella Jani and Tünde Bogárné Kiss. At same time he sang in the Pécs Chamber Choir conducted by Aurél Tillai. He sings now in the Pécs Gospel Choir too. Meanwhile he graduated from the National Reformed Cantor-Training College. Currently he is the music teacher and liturgical singing teacher of the Pécs Reformed College, and the chorus master of the mixed choir of the college.
